Clyde Gives Himself a Bath
For a few days we were low on shampoo. We used those samples you get from hotel bathrooms to wash our hair until we bought a new bottle. One of those packets was in the garbage in the bathroom. Clyde pulled in out, and rolled around in it. He now smells like hotel shampoo.

Climbing Trees
Clyde is squirrel crazy. It is a proven fact. Dogs can learn up to 86 words- and squirrel is one of Clyde's. You can say "Get the squirrel!", and he'll run towards the window, or streak across the yard.
We were walking him one day and a squirrel went up a tree as he chased it. Normally he goes to the bottom of the tree and jumps up, trying to get up the tree but really going nowhere. Well this tree...you can see in the picture.

Getting Home
Yesterday my mom and I got home from North Carolina. Clyde was staying with my dad in Connecticut. When we got back he was shy at first but then very bouncy and playful. He will do anything for cheese.

Funny Fact
We will just be sitting around after dinner, watching TV, and Clyde will walk in from the kitchen after he eats and just burp. They're little doggy burps, after every, single meal. One time he was starting to whine and beg for food from me, and they wound up combining for a very strange sound. But it is always funny and never gets old.

Clyde the Cat: Continued
Clyde not only looks out my parents window now, but mine too. I have my bed in the corner where my two windows are, and the headboard is against one of them. He likes to stand on his hind legs with his paws on the headboard to look outside. Usually his hind legs are on my long body pillow, and when he tries to push off of it, he just sinks, so his feet just go back and forth pushing on it. The other day, he managed to push himself over and sit on the window sill. The blinds and the drapes were closed, so he couldn't see. I think he got up there to sit behind them both, (which he did), and have an uninterrupted view.
Another thing he does all the time is watch the squirrels out the slider. Today he noticed another window above the couch, and he tried to find a way to ;look out up there. He jumped up on the couch firs, then went down and started jumping on the wall. He isn't quite tall enough though.

Clyde the Stunt Master
Clyde always jumps all over me when I get home from school. Today my mom was home, so when I went in he was out of the crate and in his harness. I was holding him back by the harness and playing so he wouldn't jump on my stomach on the couch. He just started backing up and pulling his paws out. I think he can get out of anything! Uh-Oh...

Clyde the Cat
The other day in my parents' room Clyde was jumping up the wall trying to see out the window. Mom moved the chair against the wall so he could climb up and see. He clmbed up the chair and put his front paws on the windowsill. He stood at attention staring out into the trees, until he pulled himself all the way up onto the windowsill. Later in my room he had his paws up on the qindow and his back back paws on my bed. He went back and forth between my windows, sometimes hanging over the edge of the head board.
